Manufactured by: Hobby Beverage Equipment Company The CO2 Injector Kit is a new. It is designed to replace topping off and the floating lid. The issue is CO2 and the amount of air that get into the fermentation tank. CO2 is heavier than air and when injected into a closed tank will replace the air forming a blanket over the fermentating wine. Some pleople use this same rig on particially open wine bottles before sealing. Along with the cylinder housing you will receive 3 gas cylinders, stem valve or connector and reducer (1/2" to 1/8"). The reducer screws into the fermenter lid. The gas cylinder holds 6 liters of pure CO2 gas in a compressed liquid form. The housing has a trigger mechanism so you can measured injection. The stem valve is threaded so the knurled nut on the housing can be screwed onto the connector on the tank. The fitting threads are located on the lid of the fermenter next to an airlock/plug threads. The Use & Care Instruction you will receive with the Kit will explain CO2 coverage for your tank size.
