Do not buy this product!! It didn't last a week.
Buy one with stronger steel arms for crushing cans.

I purchased this item based on the reviews here. As soon as I got it I realized it would have to be modified to work as advertised. After mounting the crusher to a wall, I found that it takes two hands to operate it. One to operate the lever and the other to hold the can in place so it doesn't shoot ten feet across the room. The crushing surfaces are slick, painted metal with no ability to grip the can. I solved this problem by gluing two sheets of rubber to the top and bottom of the crusher. It now works with a one handed operation as it should have from the start. It is a shame the manufacturer didn't spend the extra two cents to make this a truly worthy product.

We drink lots and lots of beers at this house. I must say those trash bags were filling up pretty fast around here, and the space was getting thin. I bought this can crusher about a month ago and I must say it's the best purchase I made all year!!
I made sure I bought this one because it can crush tall boys as well. Now I can't finish beers fast enough!! Letting out pure aggression as I crush them into a pancake. It feels great, works great, and sounds just as mean as it squashs that can like throwing a brick through the window when your pissed (without that expensive mess).

This product is awesome. Very fun and simple to use, crushes cans so small that the recycler looks almost empty on recycle pickup day. AND, the price is right. Highly recommend this product
